Catalan chef Carme Ruscalleda will be awarded at the San Sebastian Gastronomic Conference
The technical committee of the San Sebastian Gastronomical Conference named Carme Ruscalleda, the seven Michelin star chef, as a symbol of the “Spanish culinary revolution”. It was also announced that Chef Carme Ruscalleda will receive the Premio Homenaje (The Homage Award) at the San Sebastian Gastronomica, which will take place on October 21st between October 6th and October 9th. Chef Carme Ruscalleda will receive the award on October 7th.
Ruscalleda, a 7-star Michelin star, closed the Sant Pau restaurant in Barcelona a year ago, but is now managing the Sant Pau restaurant in Tokyo. Ruscalleda is also the chef of the Moments restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona.
San Sebastian Gastronomika is one of the important events of the gastronomic world.
