David Thompson is an Australian-born chef of nahm which locates in Bangkok. When he is not in the kitchen, David is also an author, broadcaster and widely acclaimed expert in Thai cuisine. Prior to opening nahm, David established himself with Darley Street Thai in Sydney, a restaurant that debuted in 1991 and was voted as the ‘Best Thai Restaurant’ by the Sydney Morning Herald eight years in a row. The restaurant is currently on the 28th place at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List and also on the 5th place at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants List.
